Failed neck surgery syndromeFailed surgery refers to continued pain after the procedure has been done. The number one reason that the patients have pain after the surgery is because the area operated on wasn't the cause of the patient's pain. In this case, the surgery itself went well, but the pain was never alleviated because the prognosis was incorrect. For these patients, a rigorous medical examination and many tests are needed. The physician must be sure to find the correct area of affliction to ensure that patient's pain is alleviated.
