Brachioplexus pathology

Brachioplexus pathology refers to damaged nerves that innervate the shoulder and upper arm. Sometimes this injury can occur to infants when passing through the birth canal, or it can happen to adults when they are injured in the area. Symptoms can range from loss of feelings to inability to raise arms above the shoulder.

Quick diagnosis is key to the individuals recovery for Brachioplexus pathology. The patient needs physician directed extensive physical, occupational and massage therapy with specific range of motion exercises. Doctors can also instruct patients different at home exercises to help with rehabilitation.
